Tornelo Training Session / Certification
Time & Location
About the Event
Because of the rapidly changing pandemic situation over the last year, tournament organizers have had to quickly switch from face-to-face events to unfamiliar online tournament formats.
However, switching to the available online platforms is not always easy for organisers who are often forced to move to this new format with little practical or moral support.
The recent introduction of Hybrid chess by FIDE allowing online games to be approved for ELO FIDE rating, offers totally new perspectives for the future, especially for team events.
As an answer to this new situation, ChessMates International organizes a training session in the recently FIDE approved Tornelo platform. Tornelo is one of the only platforms suitable to run hybrid events.
The training will be led by Florian LUTARD and International Arbiter and Organiser Adam RAOOF, Tornelo experts.
The first session will take place on June 19th and June 20th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (UTC+1) by Zoom conference.
In order to allow personalized follow-up by our training team, the session is limited to 20 participants.
Course objective :
- Allowing trained participants to organize a Large-scale Tornelo event on their own.
- Obtain the Tornelo Arbiter Badge, the first level Tornelo arbiter Certification.
